Hoymiles Partners with Yuma to Promote Environmental Awareness and Solar Knowledge at Community Climate Day in Bonn, Germany
Bonn, Germany, October 13, 2024 – Hoymiles partnered with one of its major distributors in Germany Yuma on the 8th Vilich-Müldorf Climate Day in Mühlenbachhalle, Bonn. The event, attended by more than 150 local residents, media representatives, government officials and environmentalists, aimed to promote environmental awareness and community interaction. By presenting a technical speech and providing MS-A2 balcony solar storage product for free use, Hoymiles helped local residents know more about balcony solar and showed its commitment to a green future.

The host organized a workshop to let local residents know more about balcony solar which is a mainstream energy solution for urban dwellers. Experts gave talks on the legal regulations and technical advancements of balcony power plants, showcasing a range of installation options and storage systems.
At the event, a booth was set up to display Hoymiles’ latest balcony solar storage MS-A2 and microinverter products, with small gifts handed out to the participants. Additionally, at the balcony power plant workshop, Hoymiles’ Germany-based technical support engineer Jose delivered a compelling 10-minute presentation, helping local residents gain a deeper understanding of Hoymiles and its products.
With a built-in 2.24 kWh battery, MS-A2 only works on the grid to transform solar energy into electricity for daily use, but also functions as a portable power bank that can be connected to appliances like chargers and lamps for outings. More importantly, it works seamlessly with Shelly smart meter and plug so that users can accurately track their energy use and save more on electricity bills.
Hoymiles’ support to local green initiative
After the event, Hoymiles donated three units of MS-A2. One was reserved for future seminars and display, and two were initially set aside as test products for the testing activities before being used as lottery gifts for the participants. Each winner received a 14-day trial of the MS-A2. This gave local residents the opportunity to personally experience solar products and see firsthand how green energy can impact their daily lives and realize energy independence.
At the same time, Yuma also offered €50 discount codes to residents present at the event so that they can buy solar products as needed. This attracted a lot of participants who showed great interest in going solar in the future.

The event was met with enthusiasm from the residents. It not only raised the local awareness of photovoltaic technology, but also strengthened Hoymiles’ brand presence within the community.
