When one partner wanted to build an ambitious roof-mounted power station while reducing Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), they turned to Hoymiles’ microinverters. The project was the first of its kind in South Africa and our equipment made it possible to build and operate a higher-yielding PV power station than ever before.

Reducing costs to maximize revenue

Crucially, our MI-600 2-in-1 microinverters are established in the South African market as efficient, cost-effective, and a way to reduce lifetime costs.
With failure rates of lower than 0.18%, no DC wiring for faster installations, and the world’s leading CEC Peak efficiency (96.7%), Hoymiles helped maximize yield, lower operating costs and, ultimately, drive more revenue.
I was delighted to work with Hoymiles on the Johannesburg project. We’ll continue our close cooperation with Hoymiles to develop ways to help users safely build and operate higher-yielding PV power stations.

A safe, easy to monitor installation

Hoymiles also provided 22V startup voltage to ensure longer working time and up to 60V DC input to ensure 100% safety. All supported by module-level monitoring and MPPT, helping our partner monitor and manage the solar ecosystem over time.
