Building on successful wind farm projects, the Village of Carmangay worked with us to install a solar system that could deliver more than 150% of the energy its municipal buildings would need.

Creating a sustainable future

To the east of the village, you’ll find the 300MW Blackspring Ridge wind farm – the biggest investment in wind energy in the entire province. Building on this success, it was natural for the village to move to a safe, reliable and efficient solar energy supply.
Ultimately, the system we installed reduced emissions by 78,566lbs a year. That’s the equivalent of planting 1284 trees.
